Nantucket Dining Room

Project: Transform the dining room so that it has a light & airy feel and is appropriate for dinner parties and messy-kids alike. The room has two french doors leading to the outside patio, so the room must accommodate traffic coming & going from the outside. Historic wood elements that are currently in the room will stay so the space will need to connect back to that natural wood.

Mood Board:

Proposal: The goal for this space is to create a light and airy dining room that compliments the relaxed feel of Nantucket Island. The lighter blue and whites subtlety nod to a nautical feel while the grey-tons will compliment the historic wood accents that are currently part of the room. The overall vibe is inviting, welcoming, comfortable.
